“The Estacada Citizen” was inspired by the life of Del Stevens. Del’s memorial service was on January 21, 2024, and that night I put together the blog. Del was a kind, welcoming, and compassionate gem of a person. I was inspired by his love for people, a love that I also share. With “The Estacada Citizen” I will keep Del’s legacy alive by giving the same kindness, love and compassion to those around me and those I interview. Del was honored like the hero that he truly was at his memorial. His kindness was gentle and loving.
